I am Gretchen Graf.  I am an owner in Hidden Springs RV Resort.  I was born in Rhode Island and our family moved to Iowa for school and then to Provo, Utah.  I attended BYU and met Jan Graf and we were married in 1966.  After schools and the air force, we moved to Santa Clara, Utah.  This is the town my husband, Jan, grew up in.  We have 8 children, one who passed away just after birth.  We have 28 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and two more on the way.  All who are such a joy in our life. 

 

My husband, Jan, worked this land where the RV Resort is being built all of his life.  His father had cattle and they grew hay and did all the work taking care of these animals.  This place in Ivins where the resort is being built is called “The Bench” by all of the family members.  Jan loved to be up there and spent many hours there.  It was his stress relief place.  The bench property was part of his inheritance from his parents.  We decided to start the proceedings for the RV Resort which took many years.  Jan was so excited about this venture.  Sadly, Jan passed away in January of 2022.  He is the love of my life.  The hard part for me is that Jan has not been able to see the results of this venture.  He would be so excited to see it come to fruition.  It is such a beautiful place and I am excited to see the finished product and have a place where others can come and bring their families and enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax and enjoy life.
